We fight this battle everyday, especially when being compared to technologies that are NOT what we refer to at PAVERART: Built to Last.
It doesn't take a scientist to realize that Paint will wear down. That poured concrete will crack. This is just common sense that everybody usually knows right?
But when buyers choose option A below, they simply are NOT:
Calculating the cost of re-painting the symbol every x# of months
Comparing that cost over some future time period to the Cost of option B
How long of a period should a buyer go out to compare A vs. B? In our opinion, as far out as the alternative will last, but at the very least, 10 years.
A core principle at PAVERART is "Built to Last."
What does that mean?
Well, we often say it will outlive US.
Our first job in Wildwood NJ was one of our proudest:

16 years, millions of cars, plenty of Northeast Winters.
Result: Still looks great after all of those conditions.
That is Built to Last. And the only way we do it.
